Compile Star-CD Executable Solving File on Fedora Core 3

For a long time, I had not find how to compile star-cd executable solving file. When I run starlink It always gets:

undefined reference to `__ctype_b'
undefined reference to `errno'

When I search the error message on Google, It return many good information for me. I found the useful solution (Bug 80016) on redhat. The following is my advice:

Firstly, you should download the respective service packs and quick fixes of your absoft Fortran version from www.absoft.com.
If you run absoft fortran 7.5, please download the 7.5 service packs including service pack and quick fix.
1) become super user
2) change your current directory to your absoft directory
3) run

tar -zxdf (service pack).tar.gz

Secondly, you get the ctype.c from UTexas the comment. Compile it with gcc:

gcc -c ctype.c

and copy ctype.o to the $ABSOFT/ctype directory.

Finally, you insert the following line to the bash program starlink, after line 570:

EXTRALIBDIRS="$ABSOFT/ctype/ctype.o"

Then, you get it work.
